Many will say to Jesus in the near future “Lord didn’t I do many miracles for you…….” and Jesus will say “depart from me I never knew you……” If this does not make you wonder why this happens then I would ask myself “what am I truly seeking?”
Matthew 7:15-23
15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
16 “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
17 “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
19 “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 “So then, you will know them by their fruits.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
22 “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
The world has taught us about all the wrong fruits. One doesn’t have to be a scientist to figure out that Jesus isn’t talking to people who did not know him at all. This is not just some random people who wondered through life or denied Jesus all together. These are people who claim to have known Jesus personally but never really knew him at all. Maybe these are the people that played church and clung to religion more than the relationship with Christ and the Father! If Jesus tells us that he is the way to the Father then how would we get there any other way? If I do not walk with the Christ then how could the work of the Father be done through Christ into me? After all Jesus not only tells us, but indeed he walked it all out with his disciples so that we would have the representation of the humble servant we need to be in order to please his Father in Heaven! Look at what Peter tells the world!
Acts 3:11-20
11 While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the so-called portico of Solomon, full of amazement.
12 But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk?
13 “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you delivered and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.
14 “But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
15 but put to death the Prince of life, the one whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.
16 “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.
17 “And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers did also.
18 “But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.
19 “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
20 and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,
Why is it important to pay close attention to the words of Yeshua (Jesus)? Why is it important to pay close attention to the words of those who walked with Yeshua? If you believe that Jesus was the witness to the true character of Yahweh (God), the Father, then those who were walking with Jesus were the witness to the witnessing of Jesus! No matter how many years have passed the one thing that connects us all is the Holy Spirit! This Spirit is the Spirit of truth! If one wants to be led by the Spirit then it will cut us deep and clean us out. It not only leads us, it overcomes in us the very things that we can never even touch! The world as a whole knew that there would be a redeemer or Christ (anointed one) that would come someday. Almost every tribe around the world had some story of the world being redeemed one day. The problem with most of the stories was that it was wrapped in the lies of creation rather than that of the creator. The Natives here in the Americas thought that the white Buffalo was the sign of this redemption.
No matter what the case may be, the world as a whole has been broken and deceived since the fall of mankind. The problem with the average person these days is that they have not heard the true witness account of the Apostles, which in turn gives them an inaccurate account of the Apostles witness to the Christ! The modern day so called church takes only bits and pieces of the words written so that they can entertain or tickle people’s ears in order to get more members of their country clubs. They claim that all the money is the will of Jesus but at the same time it seems when you read the real words of Jesus, Jesus was always doing the will of his Father (Yahweh-God)! If this doesn’t confuse you then I wonder how one can be so content with such a thing? I know we are called to love and share the good news but when does the things that are considered works supposed to outweigh the reality of us actually sharing the good news? If I just fork out money my whole life on one day a week but never interact with people throughout my life as if I am better than them, what good have I really done? Meanwhile there are thousands of people weekly that I pass never once witnessing to them. When I read the words of my Lord Yeshua I don’t find such a call for this kind of mission. I do find this though!
Mark 16:15-20
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
16 “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.
17 “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.
We are to tell all of creation if we are a disciple of Christ. Even creation moans for redemption because of the fall! Why do wolves really howl? When did we get so passive? Since when did the power of witnessing fall on the shoulders of a select few people? Those who have ears to hear can then see why we are in the mess we are in here in America. We were taught to join membership clubs as if we were doing the Lord’s work by showing up a few days a week all the while our neighbors who were not in our club were falling apart around us. It’s okay though we had a few people overseas doing the work right?
Not only have we accepted this false pretense of being the church, we have allowed the lures of Hollywood, Sports, music, and so much more to become the idols we truly hold dear in our lives.
“Oh Father, forgive us of our ignorance and please throw us further into the fire”
If I read the sermon of Peter closely then I can understand the order of which the witnessing was and is to take place. Also it can lead me back to the original source of the power of Yahweh! Don’t get me wrong people, I am as broken as the next and have had many battles of self-repentance these past few years and it is far from over. If I do not adhere to the things my Father is calling me to repent (change my mind) about then what good does the Holy Spirit do for me and in me?
Hebrews 2:1-4
1 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.
2 For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,
3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard,
4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.
For me to test all things it means I have to be willing to listen to all things. This is why evil does not want us to have open conversations about all things because then we have the chance to weigh such things. My Lord Jesus told me that the Holy Spirit would teach me all things, not some!
John 14:26
26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
The more I study the word of Yahweh (God) and His Christ (anointed one) Yeshua (Jesus), the more I realize that even through the studies of History documented outside of the Bible, it is all tied together! The so called church establishment over the last 1700 hundred years was responsible for many murders and burning people at the stake who disagree with them. This does not sound like the work of my Lord Jesus. It seems that many have no real clue that the counterfeit spirit that roams this land is not the Holy Spirit! That is why it is so easy for so many to accept the pagan roots of the traditions they cling too. This is why the god of mammon is worshipped over the true God of the word! This is why the path has become more broad than narrow why we have accepted the twisted truths that scare away the Spirit of truth.
In order to truly know what is right one must be willing to witness what is wrong. If I am thrown in some religious bubble only to hear the words of certain people then how can I personally ever weigh the things that the Holy Spirit wants to work in me? I know that I am a witness to the fact that people love cute quotes and clichés that make them feel warm for a few minutes but yet they are still riddled with fear from the world around them. How is this possible if they truly know the Jesus I know? How did Jesus cast out demons if he didn’t know or understand anything about the spirits that were present in people? If the word of God tells me this below then why am I scared of the fire?
Hebrews 12:29
29 for our God is a consuming fire.
Yahweh (God) is the fire! Yahweh sent His word to become the Christ we would need and plant the seed that Yahweh intended to redeem us all! The witness of the Christ is to teach us that we too can be the servant of the most high but we have to be willing to first serve the one who was given all authority and sits at the right hand of Yahweh!
Luke 8:11
11 “Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.
Yahweh spoke this to the prophets prior to the Christ being born! It is the seed that He plants that makes all things come to pass!
Isaiah 55:11
11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Isaiah 44:24
24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,
“I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth all alone,
Numbers 23:19
19 “God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent;
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Yahweh (God) is very clear on what he does and causes no confusion, it is mankind and evil that does the confusing. Confusion will leave people fearing all the wrong things and make us void of the real power that comes from our Father in heaven through the Christ (anointed one) Jesus! How can my words ever carry any power if I don’t truly understand the order in which this comes? My Lord Jesus was clear on everything He spoke and to know him means I can be taught clearly all the words that His Father spoke prior to him! Jesus connects the physical with spiritual so that the full word of Yahweh comes to pass in all of those who truly seek this truth! Maybe this is why people are so scared of fire because the devil makes us all think that he is the one who controls the fire?
As for me and the people I come in contact with, I will do my best to stand in the fire so that this will allow my God and His Christ to protect me from the lies and the world that I am still in. It can continue to mold me, melting away the things that are not of Yahweh and bring to the top that which is pure in my Father’s eyes. I can embrace the cutting that happens in me due to the word of Yahweh being sharper than any two edged sword! This in turn allows me to not only write the words Yahweh gives me to write but share them with the true confidence that I will upset people because in reality it is not me that they are upset with, it is the conviction that comes with standing outside the fire that does all that work!
Numbers 4:14
14 When I saw their fear, I rose and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people: “Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses.”
A few weeks ago Yahweh told me to write “Ears to Hear” and just like all the other blogs over the past two years, it is not me that these words belong too, it is my Father and His Son Yeshua! If one constant thing stands out over the thousands of years that this word of God was written, it is the fact that my God always uses the least of these! It is the broken hearted people who turn to Him with the heart of repentance (change of mind) that want the real truth! Clinging to my brokenness allows my broken pieces to be given into His hands so that He can put back together the masterpiece He intended me to be in the first place! None of this matters though if I do not first put my Faith in the one who was born to redeem me from my brokenness!
Matthew 10:33
33 “But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.
Mark 3:35
35 “For whoever does the will of God, he is My brother and sister and mother.”
