The power of your Testimony!

Most Christians these days don’t understand the power of what lies within them. See when we who hear the good news (Gospel) of what Yeshua (Jesus) did for us, it is the blood that He shed at the cross that starts the beginning of a new life. So many people are confused about what can be done from one’s own faith. See too many people are stuck at the manger and think they are praying to baby Jesus. This allows them to make Jesus into their own image instead of the true Savior He really is. If you are reading this and are starting to get angry inside then it is you who should definitely continue to read this. The blood He shed is the sacrifice that atones for all mankind’s sins, and it is in the reality that you truly believe this in your heart and confess this with your mouth.

Romans 10:9

9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

See the Lordship of Jesus the Christ (anointed one) was given to Him when He sacrificed Himself out of Faith towards God. If Jesus knew everything was going to be alright beforehand then why would He have sweat to the point of blood coming from His pores?

Luke 22:39-46

The Garden of Gethsemane

39 And He came out and proceeded as was His custom to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.

40 When He arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

41 And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray,

42 saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

43 Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.

44 And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.

45 When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow,

46 and said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

People don’t give Jesus the true credit He deserves as it was His submission to God that allowed Him to sit at the right hand of God. The word was instilled in Him and the Holy (set apart) Spirit was directly guiding Him but it was still the Faith of Jesus that allowed God to work His will through Him. Notice even up to the point of the Garden Jesus tells Yahweh that it is not His will, but Thy (God’s) will be done. Who has the say in your life? You? God? Your spouse? Your children? Mother? Father? See it is in the submission of our life to Yahweh that allows the Holy Spirit to work in us.

John 14:16-21

Role of the Spirit

16 “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;

17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

19 “After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.

20 “In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”

So many people have been misled by the fact that Jesus is God. Jesus is from God just as all of us are. The truth is if Jesus tells us here in verse 21 that if we are in Him and He is in us, with Him being in God as well then that makes us all part of the family of God. Look at what Jesus told us prior to this point in the Testimony of John.

Mark 3:35

35 “For whoever does the will of God, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

All the testimonies of the New Testament testify to what our Savior told us to become a child of God. What was lost in the first Garden with one man, was redeemed with the work done through the Son of man. It was told to us in the book of Daniel that there would come the Son of man, and this was what would take place to redeem the dominion which was lost in the Garden of Eden.

Daniel 7:13-14

The Son of Man Presented

13 “I kept looking in the night visions,

And behold, with the clouds of heaven

One like a Son of Man was coming,

And He came up to the Ancient of Days

And was presented before Him.

14 “And to Him was given dominion,

Glory and a kingdom,

That all the peoples, nations and men of every language

Might serve Him.

His dominion is an everlasting dominion

Which will not pass away;

And His kingdom is one

Which will not be destroyed.

If you read the verses prior to these in this chapter of Daniel you will see the separation of God and that which would become the man that would redeem us. Jesus is that man and when He sacrificed Himself at the cross, it was then for three days He defeated the grip of death (separation) that mankind had between us and Yahweh. Jesus preached to the ones in hades for three days and this is why the witnesses saw what they saw come from the grave that day.

Matthew 27:46-53

46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

47 And some of those who were standing there, when they heard it, began saying, “This man is calling for Elijah.”

48 Immediately one of them ran, and taking a sponge, he filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and gave Him a drink.

49 But the rest of them said, “Let us see whether Elijah will come to save Him.”

50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

51 And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.

52 The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;

53 and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared too many.

Look at the fact there were many that resurrected that day, as they went with Jesus to appear too many to speak truth. The real truth is Peter tells us this fact several years later in his letters.

1 Peter 3:17-19

17 For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.

18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

19 in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison,

If one were to pay attention to the words of Jesus it explains it all. Jesus told the Pharisees prior to His crucifixion that He would be raising others with Him as the only sign they would receive in their Generation.

Luke 11:29-32

The Sign of Jonah

29 As the crowds were increasing, He began to say, “This generation is a wicked generation; it seeks for a sign, and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah.

30 “For just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation.

31 “The Queen of the South will rise up with the men of this generation at the judgment and condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.

32 “The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation at the judgment and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

It is all there if we seek Jesus, He is our teacher, He is our Savior and He deserves to be King of our hearts. In this we acknowledge that He is the perfect sacrifice, and that He serves the one and only God that there is. When we do this it is in our learning and walking with Him that we learn to Glorify His God and Father which should be our God and Father. With this being acknowledged in our heart before God, then we get baptized to become a disciple to take it to the world. Look at this truth we have in Revelation.

Revelation 12:10-12

10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,

Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.

11 “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

12 “For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”

See it is our testimony after we believe that Jesus died for us that sets us free and the power of Yahweh comes through us so that we can do things greater than He. We will never be King but we can submit to the King and have a place in the inheritance that is promised from Yahweh. Awesome right!!
