The true Bride!

If one took the time to truly study the things in this world, it wouldn’t take them long to see that most things we see are inconsistent and flawed. Now what do you do when you actually get to the point of uncovering these lies? The one thing that is historically proven, archeology proven, and time stamp proven is the word of the living God. See the problem with the majority of the people in this world is that they have become numb to the lies and have accepted these things to be true. Now when presented with the real truth they have no need because it is now called conspiracy theory. Even the average Christian has been voided of the simplest truth but yet they have no clue what this is!

Jesus not only connected the physical world with the spiritual realm, he set forth an offer to all mankind that most people have no clue exist even to this day! My Father who art in Heaven is setting in motion that which has been ordained since the foundation of the world and soon this door will be closed! Will you make it in the door before it closes?

For thousands of years prior to the birth of the Christ, who is Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth, there was a ceremony so intriguing and so real but yet only carried out in one place in the whole world! Many cultures had weddings and things similar but they did not hold a light to this one spot ordained in the world! This place was Galilee! The truth of what they did was so prophetic but yet so under looked by most in that time and under looked even to this day!

When the day came for a man to leave his family, his father would have already had a wife set up. The fathers of both the bride and groom would have set this up but unlike any other arrangement in this world this would be unique! See the whole town would know of this and when the day came it was celebrated as the fathers would make ready their children. When the groom to be would approach the bride to be, there was a ritual done. See the groom would have made a special cup and in this cup he would pour wine. With the whole of the town standing around he would then hand this cup to the bride to be. The woman then had a choice and this choice was all up to her. In Galilee the woman did not have to commit to this if she did not want to, it was not forced. If the woman drank from that cup then that meant that she was his bride to be! The father of the groom would then make a payment to the father of the bride sealing the deal! From that point forward the groom would not drink from that cup until the wedding feast.

Now this is where it gets so awesome! The father of the groom would take his son with him and the bride would go with her father. They would not see one another until the time was ordained. The groom nor the bride would know when this would happen, only the father of the groom would know! It was usually a year or so but it would take longer if decided by the father of the groom. From the time that the betrothal happened up till the time the father of the groom would tell his son, “Go get your bride”, the groom and bride had preparations to do. The groom was to build a house and get all the things ready to be able to care for his bride. There was so many things that the father had to teach his son in order for him to truly understand who he needed to be in order to properly care for his bride.

The bride on the other hand, she was to get her wedding dress ready and all of the bride’s wedding party ready for the big day. It would take months to do this but when she was finished she was to be ready at all times. She was to remain faithful and be constantly ready because the groom could come at any time for her!

The time was usually around midnight and the only way people would know would be the fact that when the groom’s father woke his son on this night, they would then gather certain people involved. They would then go through the streets blowing the shofar and making their way to the home of the bride. When the bride heard the sound of the shofar, she would then go into the streets. The women who were of her wedding party would always be patiently waiting with her for this night! When the groom would approach the bride they would then all come to a halt!

Matthew 25:1-13

1 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

2 “Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.

3 “For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,

4 but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps.

5 “Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep.

6 “But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.

7 “Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.

8 “The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

9 “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

11 “Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’

12 “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’

13 “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.

If one doesn’t understand at this point by reading these words then I would suggest you find some bible believing followers of Jesus the Christ and seek the significance of these words I share because this is everything in a nut shell right here! What happens next is truly amazing!

When the groom and the bride meet in the streets that night, the groomsmen would then walk up to the bride with a seat that they had made for her. The seat would be made of wood and carried by one man in front and one in back. They would lower it for the bride to sit in and then lift her off the ground. She would then be carried in this to the house of the father and groom! They referred to this as “flying the bride to the father’s house”! Ring a bell yet? See it wasn’t actually what the bride did that allowed this night to take place, it was what she accepted to be true when she drank from that cup. She was his bride to be, so no matter what she did to get ready was never more important than actually being ready!

See we have been taught many things about the communion that we partake in the modern day church but this I was never told until several months ago. Now the deeper I get in the word of Yahweh the Father, the more I understand the significance of my Lord Jesus as well! When Jesus told the disciples these words, they fully understood the meaning of it all!

Matthew 20:23

23 He said to them, “My cup you shall drink; but to sit on My right and on My left, this is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by My Father.”

Luke 22:14-20

14 When the hour had come, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him.

15 And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

16 for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

17 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves;

18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”

19 And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.

You see after the groom and the bride met in the streets and the bride was swept off her feet, the whole wedding party would then make their way back to the groom’s father’s house blowing the shofar some more!

Matthew 22:1-14

1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying,

2 “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son.

3 “And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come.

4 “Again he sent out other slaves saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.” ’

5 “But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business,

6 and the rest seized his slaves and mistreated them and killed them.

7 “But the king was enraged, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire.

8 “Then he said to his slaves, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

9 ‘Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, invite to the wedding feast.’

10 “Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests.

11 “But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes,

12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless.

13 “Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

After the wedding party and those who had heard the horn would make it back to the house of the groom’s father, they would enter their compound and shut the door behind them. Whoever was in the house would remain for seven days and whoever was locked out at that point was locked out for seven days. No one in or out as the wedding feast had begun!

Revelation 19:7-10

7 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.”

8 It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

9 Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’ ” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.”

10 Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Why is this all so important you might be wondering? The oil in which the parable tells us about in Matthew 25, represents the Holy Spirit! Even if people say they believe in Jesus, this is not enough to be invited to the wedding supper of the lamb! Even satan believes in Jesus, but do you think he will be there? It is those who have truly given their hearts to Jesus and made themselves ready by filling our hearts with the word of God! Drinking from that cup in what we call communion is deeper than we have ever been taught! It is called this because it means “common union”! This is what two parties have when they are in agreement with each other! Getting the preparations of the bride ready for true believers is none other than being watchful and studying the word of God! Having a true relationship with the groom through the Holy Spirit in which these things produce in us the fruits of the spirit. It calls us to be one who is calling others to the wedding feast. How can others know if they don’t hear or understand? This is why Jesus will tell many people these words!

Matthew 7:15-23

15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

16 “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?

17 “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

18 “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.

19 “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 “So then, you will know them by their fruits.

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

22 “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’

23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

Knowing why we drink from that cup adds even more meaning to why we are called to be the bride not just some membership club! Understanding that keeping the will of the Father is so important to our bridegroom makes it all the more clear on why the groom gave his life as payment for us! These things are important and should be to anyone who follows Christ! These things are not only being revealed so that we can make ourselves ready but so that we can repent from all the things we have been taught wrong! When it is all said and done only the father will know who is ready for the return of His son! The return of Jesus is drawing ever so close but many are still so full of the cares of this world and the things evil has done to confuse people has caused most to just scoff and mock at the signs we see! At the same time the Father is being so gracious calling people from all over the world to join the wedding feast! I witness men who are full of the spirit who have barely even set foot in the modern day idea of church! Will you allow the door to be shut on you? Are you ready for the groom? Do you know the groom? Have you partaken in the drinking of his cup? I can only hope those who know Jesus step it up and for those who don’t they hear form those who do! May Yahweh Bless you and His Christ guide your hearts and steps in the days ahead!
