We live in a world where truth can now be whatever you want it to be. How is that even possible? Truth has to be set in stone no matter what the situation is or else it cannot be truth. If someone murders someone and the one who did the murder convinces the jury that he/she did not do it, does this change the truth if they really did do it? It just amazes me how screwed up this world really is at times. At the same time it is even more amazing how the living God and His Christ (anointed one) Jesus are even more real than the chaos that surrounds us all. The true insanity of this world is that after all these thousands of years, mankind still thinks that we can out smart Yahweh (God). As if there is no need for the one who gave us everything we see. That is like the car saying to the mechanic that it has no need for the hands of its maker to interfere with it. Of course the car cannot talk or think because it was not made in the image of God, it was made in the heartless image of man. Man is persuaded by our greed to want more and it has just gotten worse over time.
1 John 4:1-6
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;
3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
5 They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them.
6 We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
I know firsthand how this evil world lures us into the lust of the flesh from a young age. Then at the first chance it gets it will label you something you are not in order to make the rest of the world think you are somebody that you are not. Then we will fight the lies of these things from the inside and always think that the answer is on the outside laid up somewhere in the deception of status, or worth in wealth. Meanwhile we will allow the lies to mount up in fear of pursuing the real truth and then the pain of life will just tare us apart as years go by. We will remain in unhealthy relationships thinking that one day the person we claim to love will change. This is one version of insanity we see in this world and I lived it firsthand myself. In reality this change is only possible with the help of God and His Christ Jesus. The same Jesus that the enemy of mankind has spent the last 2,000 years trying to discredit. Now the same evil is instilled in people so deep that there are scientist excited about life on another planet. They found some bacteria that is signs of life out there but yet the same type of people don’t even value the life in the womb of a woman. Miss me with your bullshit people because this is just crazy. True insanity it is and the worst part about it all is that these same people most times will think that they are sitting on the truth.
Romans 12:18-32
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.
25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural,
27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips,
30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,
31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful;
32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.
If you read all the above text and now look around at all the chaos in this world you can truly see that many are professing to be wise but they are flat out fools. Insanity means that people do the same things over and over expecting different results. It happens in many forms and many situations in this world. Even in modern day Christianity, insanity exists, as many are taught that it is our sin we repent from and in turn people constantly focus on their sins. Yes sin is not good in the eyes of the Father and Jesus paid the price for our sins past, present, and future. The truth is that Jesus was always telling his disciples and those around him to repent (change their minds) about the evil false gods and empty religious traditions so that if they would do this then their sins would be remembered no more. Jesus was teaching them about true faith and how this will ignite true belief in Yahweh (God). Then Jesus became the perfect sacrifice to wash the sins away! Look!
Luke 24:46-49
46 and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,
47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
48 “You are witnesses of these things.
49 “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”
See how Jesus tells them that repentance for forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed! You first have to tackle your unbelief in Yahweh (God) and this comes through His Christ Jesus now! If I give you a car for a 1,000 dollars then you were given that car for a price! First we had to agree on the deal correct? Jesus tells us that we are freely given salvation and our sins are forgiven if we first repent! That is the deal because we are all sinners! At the beginning of Matthew Jesus says this!
Matthew 4:12-22
12 Now when Jesus heard that John had been taken into custody, He withdrew into Galilee;
13 and leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.
14 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
15 “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—
16 “The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great Light,
And those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death,
Upon them a Light dawned.”
17 From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
18 Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
19 And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
20 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
21 Going on from there He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them.
22 Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
Jesus tells these men to change their minds for the kingdom of heaven was at hand, then he told them to follow him. Jesus did not tell them to repent (change their mind) about their sin, Jesus told them to change their mind about what they were believing in at that moment. Then Jesus teaches these men for the next three years or so, on how to tackle their unbelief. Peter was one of the greatest of these all and if you look at Peter’s sermon later after Jesus ascended then you will see that he preaches the same thing Jesus taught him!
Acts 3:11-21
11 While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the so-called portico of Solomon, full of amazement.
12 But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk?
13 “The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you delivered and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.
14 “But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,
15 but put to death the Prince of life, the one whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.
16 “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.
17 “And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers did also.
18 “But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.
19 “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
20 and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,
21 whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.
Look at 19! You need to change your mind about what you believe in, repent is what this means and then you come to Christ so that your sins are washed away! Peter is telling these people that Yahweh is God and that Jesus is the Christ of Yahweh! The long awaited messiah that would set all things straight! That is why Peter says in verse 20 that He (Yahweh) will send Christ to us if we repent! This is exactly what Jesus told Peter and the rest of the people around him!
John 6:41-46
41 Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him, because He said, “I am the bread that came down out of heaven.”
42 They were saying, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?”
43 Jesus answered and said to them, “Do not grumble among yourselves.
44 “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
45 “It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught of God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.
46 “Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.
No one can come to Christ unless Yahweh is calling them. Yahweh uses many of us to proclaim what Christ did so that we can all make the choice to believe in this truth. Insanity for modern day believers is that they constantly keep repenting about sins that they have no control over. How can you change your mind about sin? It is only by the Holy Spirit that comes to a person through Christ from the Father that we can have a new nature in us that teaches us not to sin. This is why Jesus was always getting onto his disciples about their unbelief because it was their unbelief that would keep them in the insanity of sins!
Satan has been attempting to keep people from knowing the truth of Christ and the real details ever since Christ was tempted in the wilderness. This insanity of lies is still ever so present and it keeps people full of anxiety, worry, and doubt! Soon the world will drown in its insanity of lies and deception but for those who are truly in Christ, we are already saved from it all. I have warned many people in many ways of what is coming and no matter what happens, if you chose to keep believing lies then the truth can never help you!
