In a world that is so full of hate and evil, we can honestly say that the love of many have grown cold! It breaks my heart to see the way this world longs for love but in reality cannot ever have it because the vast majority look for it in lies. Jesus told us this day would come!
Matthew 24:1-14
1 Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.
2 And He said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”
3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you.
5 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.
6 “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.
7 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.
8 “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
10 “At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.
11 “Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.
12 “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.
13 “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
14 “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Every detail in the Bible, plus infinite, holds nothing but truth in it! Yahweh is infinite! The problem with the average person these days is that they have no faith! Even the ones who claim to have faith are actually just as scared and worried as those who have no clue what faith is. Did you know that when the Roman Empire destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D. they crushed the Temples that Jesus was speaking of in verse 1 & 2! The Romans had no clue about the words that Jesus spoke to His disciples but in the greedy hearts of the Romans they wanted all the gold that the Temples were made of! So in order to get the gold they totally destroyed all the structures and went through flipping every single stone so that they made sure they got all the gold! Amazing isn’t it! The real reason the Romans destroyed Jerusalem was because they wanted to cover up what they had done to the Messiah! They felt that they could erase it from History but they were just as idiotic as the same way of thinking we have today. Time has passed but the pride of mankind is the same and has always been the same! Yahweh (God) who is the Father of all creation has never lied and He can never die! Jesus always told the world around Him and everyone who has read His words since that He did what He did only because of what the Father did through Him!
John 4:7-24
7 There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”
8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 Therefore the Samaritan woman said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me for a drink since I am a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
11 She said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep; where then do You get that living water?
12 “You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself and his sons and his cattle?”
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again;
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw.”
16 He said to her, “Go, call your husband and come here.”
17 The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have correctly said, ‘I have no husband’;
18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly.”
19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.
20 “Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.”
21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
22 “You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.
23 “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
The word of God came to life just like all the prophets had foretold! The same gift that was spoken of for thousands of years was standing right in front of this woman from Samaria! Jesus was the gift to all mankind! I love Jesus and the God He serves and I love reading the words that we have been given! See most people think that the Jews are from Israel in this modern day, but the fact is that we who have received this gift in our hearts have taken of the covenant that was long foretold in the Old Testament!
Jeremiah 31:27-37
27 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and with the seed of beast.
28 “As I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to overthrow, to destroy and to bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” declares the Lord.
29 “In those days they will not say again,
‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes,
And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’
30 “But everyone will die for his own iniquity; each man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be set on edge.
31 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.
33 “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
34 “They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
35 Thus says the Lord,
Who gives the sun for light by day
And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar;
The Lord of hosts is His name:
36 “If this fixed order departs
From before Me,” declares the Lord,
“Then the offspring of Israel also will cease
From being a nation before Me forever.”
37 Thus says the Lord,
“If the heavens above can be measured
And the foundations of the earth searched out below,
Then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel
Jews actually come from Judah who Judah was of the children born from Leah not Rachel! They were all from the seed of Jacob of course but the children of Judah would later rise up against the other Sons of Jacob (Israel) and it would cause a feud till the end of time! Why does this matter you wonder? Look at verses 11 & 12 again in the above text of John! The woman says “You are not greater than our father Jacob (Israel), are you,..”! The Samarian woman was Israel’s blood too! So why do people think that the Samarian woman was so different? It was the lies of evil that took root in the tribe of Judah that actually caused the division! Wait though isn’t Jesus the Lion from the tribe of Judah!
Revelation 5:1-7
1 I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?”
3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look into it.
4 Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it;
5 and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.”
6 And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.
7 And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
Jesus is the Lamb of God and He ascended to the right hand of God correct! So when the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who is Jesus, went to God here in the text, He received the book from the right hand of Yahweh! One of the greatest deceptions today is that mankind knows what is best for mankind! This is even evident inside the body of Christ in more ways than one! See Jesus and the words of the Father are always right! They cannot lie and they will not die! Mankind on the other hand we are liars and we all die because the wages of sin is death! Just like we go to work and we receive our wages for the work we do in the form of money! The sins in our lives pile up from the time we are born until the time we leave this earth! Death means separation from God and Jesus defeated death! Even when people finally hear the good news of Jesus we still sin after the fact! The difference is that after we truly receive the truth then our sins are remembered no more! The Holy Spirit then burns the old us off in time if we continue to seek truth in God's word! The words of the Apostles can teach people so much as well as the words of Yahweh and His Christ but the sad part is most people allow mankind to teach them what the words say! Paul tells us the attributes of those who walk in the Spirit just like Jesus said we would be able to tell a tree (person) by its fruit!
Galatians chapter 5
1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
2 Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you.
3 And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law.
4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit, by faith, are waiting for the hope of righteousness.
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
7 You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?
8 This persuasion did not come from Him who calls you.
9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough.
10 I have confidence in you in the Lord that you will adopt no other view; but the one who is disturbing you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11 But I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been abolished.
12 I wish that those who are troubling you would even mutilate themselves.
13 For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
14 For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
15 But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.
16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,
21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
26 Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.
Many people are still bound by evil and have no clue that they are! Remember in John 4:24 Jesus tells us that in order to worship Yahweh (God) that we have to do it in spirit and truth! Paul then tells us later in time right here in the letter to the Galatians that it is evident who is walking by the Spirit and who isn’t! Anger is not in the fruits of the Spirit! I ask my Father to take away my desires of this flesh all the time and in time He does take things away from me! Of course I had made a mess of my life up till the past 4 years or so and it was a huge mess in me that needed taken care of! I know now though that all I need is the truth from God! The words that Yahweh has given this world throughout time hold all the truth I need! It can seem so confusing to people who have no clue of who Jesus is when they look towards the modern day idea of Church! They see broken people who most times act like they are not broken on Sundays but throughout the rest of the week they are just as evidently broken as the next! We all have people we know battling drugs, sex addictions, greed, and the list goes on! When I was younger this all scared me away from God because it made it all seem so farce to me! In the reality of it all though it led me straight to the truth of it all! In my sin is where I found the Son of God and because of my Sin it taught me that the love that Jesus has is real! It teaches me daily that the plan of the Father of all creation was always wrapped in true love! I mean who in their right mind has a child and when that child proves to be the greatest child that had ever or will ever walk this earth, then only to allow that child to be the sacrifice for all of the rest of us bad eggs! Easy answer! Pure, unblemished, sacrificial, unselfish, and relentless love! I love how I can be transparent with God from the heart and through this He does the same with me! He constantly brings awesome people in my life! The Church He led me and my fiancé too has the greatest hearts from within the walls there! I don’t know everyone there but I do know that the love there is felt when we first walked in the doors! From the very first time, about a year ago, till now we have met wonderful awesome people! Sure we all have different levels of Faith and we all have been through different walks of life! We all have different takes on the word of God but the one thing that roots us all together is the Love of God! See these are the words of the Son of the living God!
Matthew 22:23-46
23 On that day some Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection) came to Jesus and questioned Him,
24 asking, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies having no children, his brother as next of kin shall marry his wife, and raise up children for his brother.’
25 “Now there were seven brothers with us; and the first married and died, and having no children left his wife to his brother;
26 so also the second, and the third, down to the seventh.
27 “Last of all, the woman died.
28 “In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had married her.”
29 But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God.
30 “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
31 “But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God:
32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.
34 But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together.
35 One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him,
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
37 And He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38 “This is the great and foremost commandment.
39 “The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 “On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question:
42 “What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He?” They said to Him, “The son of David.”
43 He said to them, “Then how does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying,
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Until I put Your enemies beneath Your feet” ’?
45 “If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his son?”
46 No one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day on to ask Him another question.
In verse 32 Jesus is quoting the Old scriptures to the very people who claimed to live by them! It was the pride and ignorance of these religious men that stopped them from seeing the truth in Jesus! They had no love of God in them, they only had head knowledge! The scripture that Jesus quotes in verse 44 totally confused the men! Lord means "one with authority" and Jesus was given all authority from the author! In order to have true authority it has to come from the author of which made it! Yahweh (God) created everything you see and because He is the author He gave all authority to His Christ (anointed one) who was and is His Son Jesus! Today we have what is called “Chicken coop Christianity” in many places in the world! People just pick up what is throw out to them and they never truly take it back to the author through the one who has authority! Those who do know the truth know that no matter what anyone says or writes they know the truth can be found in the one who holds all truth in His hands! Why does Jesus tell us these words!
John 8:28
28 So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.
Jesus always glorified God who is the Father of all things! It was in this obedience and Faith that He proved Himself to be the Christ that was foretold to come! Jesus taught all the disciples that walked with Him that it was only by true Faith that they would have a chance to fulfill the great commission that laid ahead of them! Those men had no clue what was going to happen but through their trials and heartache they learned that every single word Jesus spoke was undeniably 100% true! It is easy for us to read it all now thinking it was so easy for them and all the while complain about our petty lives as if we should get off easier that those faithful servants of God’ Kingdom! I would like to end this blog with a story!
One day about twenty years ago there was a man that committed murder here in the States. He had hired the best Lawyer a man could find! This Lawyer knew he was guilty but it was his job to defend Him and get the man off! So when it came time for the jury to read the verdict, they told the court that the man was not guilty! Many years later the same man murdered again and when it came time to stand before a judge again the man was standing there in fright! That same man that had defended him all those years ago was now the man sitting in the chair that would judge him!
Jesus the Christ (anointed one) already came in our defense! He sits at the right hand of Yahweh (God), the living God, ready to be our advocate through the Spirit of God which is Holy (set apart)! For now Jesus will help you in any way He can only if you turn to Him and make Him Lord of your heart! We all get caught up in the physical things of this world and totally neglect the spiritual! That is why Jesus spoke these words to the religious people of His time!
Matthew 23:16-22
16 “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’
17 “You fools and blind men! Which is more important, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?
18 “And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing, but whoever swears by the offering on it, he is obligated.’
19 “You blind men, which is more important, the offering, or the altar that sanctifies the offering?
20 “Therefore, whoever swears by the altar, swears both by the altar and by everything on it.
21 “And whoever swears by the temple, swears both by the temple and by Him who dwells within it.
22 “And whoever swears by heaven, swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.
The only thing that can be Holy on this earth is your Spirit! The Spirit then can teach you to set apart things in the physical! If you allow the Holy Spirit to live in you through believing in Jesus the Son of God then the Father will directly guide you! Yahweh will accept you and remember your sins no more! The Love of Yahweh and His Son is the realest thing anyone will ever encounter! It is in this love that all things will be provided and if you are taught that it is money that will guide this truth then please let that lie go! Our creator created us to be relational beings and the greatest truth is that we are given one another to love! Money is just a tool that mankind has derived for use of evil! Of course we need it to survive in the world these days but Yahweh has always provided for those who trust Him! Don’t look to the world for the standard of life or you will never be happy no matter where you go or what you do! Pick up the word of God and read the words of His Christ so that you will always be happy in their truth! May Yahweh Bless you and His Christ guide your steps in the tribulations ahead!
